I have thought about these too, the superturismo look awesome! Looks like the ones on the GT1/2/3 cars!

But the thing is that even the 17s are 23 lbs! That is too much for me. You should at least go for the LMs as those are *only* 19 lbs in 17" fitment.

It's as far as i can stretch my insurance money...look for me in the tire side of the forum. But yeah due to NJDOT i needed 4 new rims and tires and this is how far i could stretch the initial insurance check.
But yeah lots of cars had these in Europe so thought...hey way not!
I'm going for the 18's

Can you all see this...the car is dirty...rained like hell last night in NYC.
I went square 18s and it drives very well. so far so good i'll let you know ina few days how it works. But now the car is German, the rims are Italian and the tires are French.
Which is fine because IDRIVE is from Italy (Denzo) the the GPS software is TomTom (Dutch)
So I guess you can say the car is now very fengshway?

Those wheels look awesome! Reminds me of my first set of OZ wheels I had on my E46. They were so heavy though.

I was referring to my own wheels. But I agree with you.

Tire Rack is amazing...it really is! Service is the best you can get. Hell most local mom and pop shops aren't even this good or fast...so i feel really bad for the local shops.
But order a tire on a Saturday afternoon and have the thing delivered and mounted ready to rock and roll on Tuesday morning? OMG that's nuts! I'm a six sigma black belt and i want to see their process flow plan because it must be amazing!

Ok now what they stink at….showing you what the tire and rim look on your car. I’m telling you what I saw on tirerack’s rendering did not turn me on and I was less than happy. But I knew OZ made a good product so for me it was a bit of a jump. I wasn’t even sure what these things looked like since well not even the internet was of any use since all the OZ’s were on dark Hondas and 16in.

And I’ll be honest when they arrived…I wasn’t even sure if they would look good or work! And it wasn’t until all 4 were on the car and I had a chance to stand back and enjoy the view that I realize….holy hell this looks really good!

So here is what I can tell you. The Michelins on the care sound great…very quiet. However they don’t seem to “roll” as easily as the old Hankooks. Maybe it’s the extra 1lb on the rim? Going square…smaller in the back and slightly fatter up front….the car rides good…tracks on the highway great….i was in NYC with our “special” roads and it did well eating up the bumps and the occasional hipster. And we had some epic rain last night and the tires worked well in the rain…all the hipster blood washed off easily.

Over all I say it was a good thing…not good that there was a freaking NJDOT sing in the middle of a major highway that trashed my tires…..but in the end it turned out ok.
