You know, you're right? The M3 Caps are the same. The rest of the mirror is slightly different but the caps are indeed interchangeable...

I have some CF mirror caps that came on my 1M, however, I do not think they are OEM. Fitment seems to be spot on. I took them off just to have a different look. I'll look tonight and see who makes them
