I purchased a 2010 BMW 135i 6spd coupe in April. Car has 63,xxx miles. Bought used at a used car lot with a 3rd party warranty. My car threw the famous 30ff code and I can hear the horrible rattle from wastegates. My engine light came on and took it to dealer in limp mode. They diagnosed it and found these two codes 28ce and 30ff. SA at LQBMW told me I need all spark plugs changed, 3 injectors, and my turbo vacuum lines were cracked. I replace plugs with oem BMW bosch. I also changed all vacuum lines. Are injectors maintenance parts or do they fall under emission? Could the misfire code be related to the low boost code in turn point to wastegate leak? Can anybody Chime in with advice. Any would be appreciated. Thank you

These SIB's might help you out. Also make sure your car has had its HPFP recall done. There was also an injector recall done too. G.L.

Thanks guys. My SA said I don't qualify for injector recall or hpfp recall. My car is 2010 is that why?Got my battery cable recall done. I guess I have to buy a set of injectors.

IF your car does indeed need new injectors... they should be covered by the emission warranty (100K miles/5 years). You might need a failed emissions certificate in order to get BMW to replace them. But they should be covered.

I'm planning on keeping my 135i, because I love it, however, long term with maintenance it sounds more expensive than my divorce! We need for Obama care to cover our car maintenance too.
