I purchased a 2010 BMW 135i 6spd coupe in April. Car has 63,xxx miles. Bought used at a used car lot with a 3rd party warranty. My car threw the famous 30ff code and I can hear the horrible rattle from wastegates. My engine light came on and took it to dealer in limp mode. They diagnosed it and found these two codes 28ce and 30ff. SA at LQBMW told me I need all spark plugs changed, 3 injectors, and my turbo vacuum lines were cracked. I replace plugs with oem BMW bosch. I also changed all vacuum lines. Are injectors maintenance parts or do they fall under emission? Could the misfire code be related to the low boost code in turn point to wastegate leak? Can anybody Chime in with advice. Any would be appreciated. Thank you

Yes. It was my mistake. Read another vin from my documents. Very stressed with engine malfunction and the car being new to me. Very embarrassed.

I wouldn't sweat it too badly, those are normal maintenance items you are dealing with, just all at once, it's nice they found what your boost leak was coming from, there are always a number of things that can be associated with the 30FF code. I think you should be okay

These SIB's might help you out. Also make sure your car has had its HPFP recall done. There was also an injector recall done too. G.L.

GG $1200. New revision injectors need to be replaced as a set of 6 if you don't have the new ones yet.

Any recommendations where to get them cheaper and fast? I think ECS sells em for less but are backordered. ....... Now I see two types on there site. What's the difference?

IF your car does indeed need new injectors... they should be covered by the emission warranty (100K miles/5 years). You might need a failed emissions certificate in order to get BMW to replace them. But they should be covered.

Turns out I don't qualify for any recalls. My extended third party warranty won't cover my injectors.

I'm planning on keeping my 135i, because I love it, however, long term with maintenance it sounds more expensive than my divorce! We need for Obama care to cover our car maintenance too.

Bourbon inspired comment.
