Alufelgen SF-71 Lowering Advice Please
Hey guys I have been searching and searching for a week or so with no luck finding what I am looking for.... I need the experts to chime in!!
SF-71 19x8 et45 19x9 et48 Tires are Hankook V12 225/35/19 and 265/30/19 Presently on stock m-sport suspension and my 135 is a 2012!! What lowering springs will work without rub, give me equal or better ride quality, and not break the bank! I am considering getting some Koni/spring combo for ride quality reasons. Looking for good and bad reviews of the springs and who likes this vs that! Thank you everyone!!

If you lower the rear at all with that tire combo you will rub.

I have BMW performance suspension and was rubbing pretty badly in the back with 255 Michelins.
Nearly gone after guard roll. |

Lowering springs will make your ride worse.
BMW performance suspension likely will be similar in ride comfort bc they only drop the car 10mm from stock.

Some say running the 2011 m sport springs with koni fsd is a great combo because supposedly the 2011 oem springs are linear not progressive. Can anyone confirm?

Prior to the suspension upgrades I was experiencing some minor rubbing in the rear with more than one person in the car, especially going over dips in the road or at bridges. Since the installation of the 2011 springs and the Konis I have very little bounce in the rear of the car and no rubbing issues. Unfortunately I can't tell you how much difference is due to just the dampers, but all I can say is that my car now drives like it should have from the factory with no real sacrifice in ride. In my opinion if you already have 2011-12 M Sport springs Koni Sports are a good option for upgrading your suspension without lowering the car, especially if you are going to run SF-71 wheels. I like the adjustability of the Koni Sports over the FSDs. Also even at stock ride height the 19" SF-71 wheels give the car a nice stance.

Here is a link to the write up I did when I changed my suspension set up to the Koni Sports and 2011 M Sport springs. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ght=Suspension
