Port Installed Accessories List

I'm looking at some used 128i's but it's not clear which port installed accessories are on them (BMW performance accessories, like short shifter, lip spoiler, etc). I have looked at the VIN decoders, but they only give you factory installed options. Does anyone know a way to find port installed options with the VIN number? Thanks

I would imagine unless you have original sales invoice you wouldn't know unless you're looking at the 135is in which case all the "is" parts were installed at port.

Curious, what makes you think a particular car has them?

A car that has a number of externally identifiable options (like the ones mentioned above, but more). The owner thinks it might have the performance brakes but isn't sure. I also want to know if it has the performance exhaust, or anything else that you can't necessarily see

I know I can just get it inspected by a BMW specialist, but I'm looking at more than one car, and the options would affect my decision. I've already paid to have one car inspected that I didn't end up buying (my mistake, it was in great shape), so I don't want to keep paying for them on cars I might not buy.

That would be dealer installed, not port installed. Contact the original selling dealer.

If you purchase accessories after taking delivery it's dealer installed. If you actually order your car from Germany and pay for accessories as part of original invoice they would install at port.

I'm gonna call them in a few hours, as that was the only solution I could come up with as well. It was a leased vehicle, so I assume it was ordered like that, although I don't think that changes calling the dealer to get the info.

So I just called the dealer (and another dealer about another car) and they both just gave me the build sheet from the VIN decoder. One of them said the installed options would be part of the service record, which is not public information, so it looks like a dead end, whether that's true or not.
