advice on some options

Ok guys I got this on order right now.

Tiag
Premium
Sport
Heated Seats
Coral Red
Grap Popular trim
Navigation

I am thinking of adding comfort access and maybe HD radio. My question is on the trim. I have seen this interior combo in person and love it. Then i think the High gloss black may suit the sportiness of the car better. So I am curious what trim you guys would choose and why. People who have either color combo or trim, would be great to hear from.

I chose coral red with gray poplar - it looked great in the demo car, and I figured the poplar would be less likely to show scratches/blemishes over time than the gloss black. I thought a little additional texture would help to add interest inside the car, too. Right now, the interior of the 1 is only color-blocked, so having something almost black but with a bit of motion and brightness was good for me.

If you're only swayed by numbers, without the premium package, poplar is a $500 upgrade. Choosing gloss black made it seem like you were forfeiting part of your $3300/3600 premium package cost. So, really, you have to get one of the wood trims or the aluminum. :-)

Here are a couple of shots of my Silver/Coral 135.. I love the color combination, BTW. The Black trim is perfect IMO, but these things are subjective. One thing I am thrilled with is the fact that I passed on Nav.. the Garmin Nuvi is perfect and the dash is much cleaner looking. If I were doing it again, I would take a look at comfort access, otherwise I wouldn't change a thing.

On the 135, none of the trims cost extra.

With a black car I figure the black trim works very well, regardless of it being cheaper overall. I would get the aluminum trim if it was brushed vs. dimpled. Then again, I keep thinking of replacing the black with carbon fiber trim anyway.

You might consider upgrading the stereo instead of CA and HD. It all depends on how important the sound system is to you. I prefer USB to HD. Your colors sound great. Isn't deciding fun?

IMO, comfort access is well worth the $500. Not only is it convienient, but it's pretty slick to just walk up to your car and have it open by just putting your hand on the door handle. And, it makes the push-button start make a whole lot more sense.

Oh I forgot I got the USB, but I'm not big on stereo, as long as it does its job I'm fine. Jams, thanks for the pics, it looks nice, have you found that the block scrathes easy?

I'm considering a Nav unit. Yours looks perfect. Is it hardwired and what model Garmin is that? My only reservation is leaving it in the car like that, potential for stealing it. Is it easy to remove and reattach in the vehicle?

Thx

get the comfort access. for me this was the most important option after the sport package. without it the fob just seems annoying and cumbersome.

Do you want to drive around with the remote in your pocket? Then get CA. I think CA would be much better if it fit into my wallet. YOMV

If you like to back into parking spots - get PDC. It should help eliminate those scuffs on the rear bumper.

I have the Nuvi 760.. less than $500 now, if you shop around. It is hard-wired but easily removable.

Well, the car is brand new of course and I am pretty fussy, so I am not too concerned... looks very, very good. I wouldn't have anything else.
