XXXL meet this year?

First show is on April 8th, 2012 at XXXL in Nurnberg. starts 6pm until midnight.

are you going to start an attendance thread closer to the date? im going for sure this year, id like to meet up with someone who has been before though.

what does someone have to do to get a "VIP" parking spot? I'd like my car to be, in the show, so to speak.

Yea... probably. Just PM me to remind me or feel free to start a thread(in the euro section) say a few weeks before their first event. Once they start up... they hold it almost every Friday evening. The first season show will be huge though. We should get a group together and try to park together. We will probably need to meet there around 5ish. Normally by 7pm the place is packed full of cars.

just checked my calender, the 8th is a sunday? that seems like a wierd day to have a car show, especially in germany.

not saying youre wrong, obviously it is on the 8th. just find it odd.

Humm.... that IS wierd! Lets wait a little bit and see if their FB site gets updated as the date nears.

Normally the shows are held on every Friday. But the shows are so huge that its creating a problem for the Polizei. Most shows have over a thousand show cars there. Maybe they will hold the shows on Sundays bc there will be less traffic to impact on the locals. Last year it took me almost an hour to drive that last 2km to XXXL parking lot!

Yeah, I remember that. Longest 2 kms i've ever driven. I remember hearing to have your car in the "inside" you have to be invited and be given a pass.

I think they only hold the first show on Easter Sunday. Then they switch to Friday evenings. At least that is what they did last year.

well as much as i wanted to go to this, im going to be out of the country for the next 3 months. gonna miss out on "car parts and beer" too. bummer. I will be back end of april/beginning of may. I cant wait to order parts while im gone!
