I love the sparkling Graphite color but in some lights it has a purple hue which turns me off.

Its not the hue as such its actually the reflection of the sky reflecting off that awesome colour

SGM and Coral may be one of the best combos for this car. There is definitely no paint color that goes better with coral than SGM.

I really want to see the Coral Red interior... Red is one of those colors that has to be seen in person, it never looks quite right in photographs.

My experience of this 1er so far is it looks very different in the flesh. Colors that looked good on other BMW's don't look as good on it and ones I was sure wouldn't work, look fantastic. If I would make one very strong recommendation about ordering the 1er, it would be to see the combination you want in person because the difference between the mind's eye and the actual one crazy different.
