I think a sway bar and a set of springs like the OE H&R springs might be what you are looking for if you are going for a mild setup. it's only an inch drop, so it will put much less stress on your shocks, and will give a subtle drop it sounds like you are hoping to achieve.

It's looking great so far, keep up the good work

A few more with my front lowered about 3/16" to level out the wheel well gap.

I think they look nice but bet they look better in person. From the pictures they don't stand out more than the stock rims.

They do look better in person, I'm not real good with a camera. They look agressive, yet are understated... I'm not sure how to describe them, except I'm very pleased with my choice...

I'm also considering this wheels.

If I'm right... you car is lowered on the last pics, but isn't lowered on the first ones??

What did you use to lower and how much?

Only the front is lowered a little more than 1/8", just to even out the wheel well gap... I have a CNC shop at my disposal so I cut just a touch more than 1/4 coil off the front springs. The spings were cut in a Mill with coolant to prevent any change in the metal properties. This was probably not neccessary, but I did it anyway. The car was then aligned and feels exactly as it did before, however it looks better now.

May I conclude that the offset of this wheels isn't very correct?

Wheels come probably a little bit too much outside causing more

wheel gap than with oem wheels?

If you put our cars on a level surface, the front wheel well gap will be slightly more not because the front sits higher but the arch in the front is a little higher than the rear. This was also the case in my E46 ///M3. If you look at an Evo or STI you will see what I mean by the uneven wheel well arches, it is way more pronounced.

I actually ran 12mm front and 10mm rear spacers on my stock wheels over the winter which pushed them out for a more aggressive look. Perhaps that look is not for everyone. Appearance is always subjective..

These offsets are more correct than the EAS CSL's @ 40/45 8.5"/9.5". I wanted an aggressive offset an wide tires that still fit inside the wheel well, and I got just that. The one series has very limited wheel well space. If you are looking for the most correct size and offset perhaps a 8"/9" et 45/48. Good luck finding a set, and if you do I hope you like the style.

For now these were the style I liked the most with the most correct offset. To be honest if given the choice between this offset and a less aggressive one, I would have chosen this one again.

Group buy

I have contacted the shop which distributes this wheel and am working on starting a group buy. I will start a new thread when I receive a reply.

So are you wheels still IN the the wheel wells or come they equally?

Difficult to say in the pics. In think in OEM the stance comes just a little to small...
