Battery cable recall

Just received my notice today. This recall was announced months ago. Wonder why it took so long for some notices to get out

I did not get a letter but my dealer keep on calling me.

I never got a notice but I just went to the dealer, they ran the VIN and said I needed it.

My local dealer said that my 2012 wasn't under the recall. I had to stop at a dealer in AL last month and it flagged the car as needing it as soon as they put the key fob in the reader.

GOt my letter several months ago and keep forgetting to make an appointment :-(

Was hoping to get by for a minute and then get some service done at the same time.
