Howdy
Tim suggested I introduce myself in a more genial fashion than my tirade about transit lanes - can't imagine how that topic could upset anyone ... I am new to 1 series ownership, having acquired a 2007 120i auto a few days ago to replace our ailing E39 528iA. I also have a E30 318is with a few mods which make it a nice handling track and road car. My current project is a 1988 E30 M3 with stripped interior, rollcage, raceseats, track suspension, lightened flywheel, Motec and AFM delete. This was just getting sorted and due for an engine refresh when the wrong tyres on a wet track put me into the wall at QR. So the M3 is getting straightened (I hope) as well as getting the fresh motor. All going well I will be back to keep some of these big horsepower cars honest. Cheers Simon |
