Yup they will fit. But the E90 can fit alot more offset in the rear so the ones from the E46 wont look as agressive on the rear axle, you may want to use spacers to give it a nicer look

needs help with my new tires

Hello guys, I'm from the Philippines and just joined the group. I need some advise on my aftermarket tires. I have a 2006 316i with the standard steel rims on RFT size 195/55/16. I recently changed it to a BBS CH size 235/40/18. When I drive my car now, I can feel some wiggle on my steering wheel at speeds of 70 to 80 km/hr. The installer is suggesting that I put some center ring and that will correct the wiggle. Can anyone please tell me about this center rings and is it really necessary. Thank you very much.

Center rings are highly recommended to center the wheel on the hub and share the load of the wheel. Also have your balance rechecked.

Thanks for the advise getagrip. I already had the balancing checked and everything seems to be okay. It's a very slight wiggle when I reach speeds of 70 km/hr. and up but since the car is just new i'm kind of annoyed and bothered about it. Do you think the center rings will correct the problem. Thanks

Why was the BBS not hubcentric? I thought they were.

That's what I thought. I did not have this kind of problem on my e46.

I would use the center rings whether they corrected the problem or not.

So you're saying everyone should use center rings just to be on the save side? Cuz, I'm ordering new rims tonite

Question

I already had the center rings installed but haven'e got the chance to test drive it. The installer told me that it will surely correct the problem. I hope it does! I really don't want to put the original steel rims back.
