My first BMW! Did I get a good deal?
Hi everyone, going to pick up my brand new 2006 325i on wednesday 6/21. It's jet black, black leather (premium package), auto, heated front seats and satellite prep. MSRP is $36345 and invoice is around $333xx I believe. I offered 34k even and they jumped on it. Being its almost 2500 under sticker, it seems pretty darn good to me ... what do you guys think? Thanks.

Congrats. No matter how well you did, the dealer also did well.
You now own a great car. Enjoy.

Congrats! Since you are a newbie, I won't rag on you for not getting a stick with Sports Package! ...I could have ... but I won't!
Enjoy your new Bimmer! |

$500 over invoice is a good deal for a great car....I gather this was a vehicle from dealer's inventory, even though someone I know did the same for an ordered 325i in Sept 2005.

Congrats!!! Great deal. Is that 34,000 before or after taxes?

I can't even get $1,000 over invoice. One particular prick salesman said, "Oh, you want a discount? (after showing the MSRP price)." I then indicated I did want a discount, $1,000 over invoice. He came back with fabricated invoice numbers, $1350 profit, $125 floor mats, and ~$150 dealer service fees.
You must be better looking than me. |
