I stand corrected... Safelite Glass Corporation does make auto glass.
http://www.safelite.com/autoGlassFAQ...erviceProcess2 "What is the difference between OEM and OEE glass? We manufacture and install OEM-equivalent, or OEE, auto glass. This means that it is essentially the same piece of glass that is installed at the time your vehicle is made, with the only difference being the windshield manufacturer. Our glass meets or exceeds all federal, industry and safety standards, and we engage in some of the most rigorous product testing in the industry. " my comments however regarding what they install, still remain. Simply saying " don't use Safelite.. their glass sucks " is really not a correct statement.. as they also install other types of glass as well as supported by others in this thread. |

[QUOTE=M3 Adjuster;10803487]I stand corrected... Safelite Glass Corporation does make auto glass.
http://www.safelite.com/autoGlassFAQ...erviceProcess2 [QUOTE]. Interesting....I have yet to come across a Safelite Mfg site in any report...more than likely it is from Schott Glass. Well, I stand corrected as well. They have 3 Mfg sites we don't supply....Wichita, Enfield, and another
