In Delaware you can get a special "black tag" if your registration number is low enough. The problem is, that the plates are 2 inches shorter than the standard plate. So I had to chop quite a bit off the frame that holds it to the car. It's not terribly clean but it works. Had to do it to the Mini as well.

I had to do this for my 128i and black tag as well. Will just swap that frame with the one on the 1M when it arrives.
