we believe the M135i will make use of a turbocharged, inline six-cylinder 3.0 liter engine with 320 horsepower.
What makes it a M135i and not just a 135i in Valencia Orange color?

My 135i + PPK has 320HP already.

Pretty sure the M135 M335 etc will just be a 135 or 335 with the stage 2 PPK pre-installed and some cosmetic bits...

It will have the M-Line trim. Like the new M550d.

BMW will have three levels of cars: AG, M-Line and //M.

No idea what an M-Line is.
I have the M-Sport package, which includes M suspension, M steering wheel, M wheels, and M door sills. I also bought the 1M mats.
Does that M-Line have more M bits?

I like Mr.Metak2you's rendering. I'd buy one of those for sure.

IMO, the 5 door looks better than the 3 door for this. It doesn't matter anyways as it won't be coming here.

I like everything but the back! Need to go coupe or change the Skoda/VW look. Or some cosmetic magic to the back. The rest looks very interesting. Love how the line on the sides extend to the headlights and to the grille!

This one SEX but original which is presented on this post is ugly. And that's good I still love my 135i in that case

The hatch looks like a turd that broke off a wee bit prematurely.

Why doesnt BMW realize that I would buy the crap out of this?

Ohh well, looks like ill be getting an STi to fill those needs. At least Subaru understands me.

As far as the new design goes its fairly nice in person. I see one every other day. Just not the face. It looks like somebody punched it

Back in the day a car with an M in front of the model designation signified an M suspension but not M motor ala the E12 M535. Think what the ZCP was to the E46, its basically that.

But BMW now will be using it as a trim level basically, just cosmetic changes. Think Audi S-line A4s or a C300 with the AMG Sports Package or even the more recent 335is

That's what it's looking like and the point in my posts: the M badge is just a trim line now.
But I don't like that direction. I much prefer the M meaning a thoroughly tuned engine and suspension targeting enthusiasts.

Nice render. It has the look of a WRC inspired car, and kind of like a 2 door STi.

Rear view is sort of reminiscent of the Z3M coupe.

Indeed Dackel, striking coincidence to some extent (global look 'n feel of the rear end proportions).

Add some carbon and some other design tweaks to the rear and it might work. But please not the Skoda look. Its strikingly like a Skoda Felicia straight from the back.

Great render, sadly likely better than what it'll actually look like in reality (the front especially, the headlights here are nice and the factory are hideous)
