Are you after higher performance (better handling) or just better looks?
If you're after better handling and reduced rotational inertia, choose the ones that are the lightest forged wheels. That's probably the Rays Engineering/ Volk Racing wheels. To learn more about the benefits of reduced unsprung weight vs the penalty of higher unsprung weight, just do a google search. Here's a couple of good readings... Here's a light wheel vs heavy wheel comparison... And an article on unsprung weight and rotational interia... Enjoy! |

I voted for the Breyton Race GTS for looks, but the Volk RE-30 is a super light super strong forged wheel. The 18"x8" weighs only 17.5#. I had a set on my TL-S with Pole Position RE050A 245/45/18" They are great for performance. $700 each.
I personally will keep the 264's I love them. I might get a set of black GTS in 17" for winter wheels on an Alpine 135i. They will look tough in the snow. |

^The GTS-R specs per Gill:
18x7.5" ET 45, 17.2 lbs. $279 per wheel* (Matte Grey, Black and Silver) 18x8.5" ET 48, 17.6 lbs. $289 per wheel* (Matte Grey, Black and Silver) So you get good looks plus weight savings with 'em. |

Yes, but keep in mind that this is still a cast wheel. It will not be as strong as a forged wheel, ala, Volk.

I forgot they are super light. But what worries me about the GTS-R is the strength, they are not forged, and being that light is hard to believe they are real strong.

That is pretty light for 18" s, wonder if they are tough enough to race on......I am looking for a set of wheels to put V710's on.....
Kosei's are in the same weight class and race proven, I think they are no so beautiful tho'. |

Do we really know if those weights on the Superleggera are real? For instance, the 18x8 fronts are listed around 24lbs. But the 18x9 rears are listed as nearly 37lbs?! Really? That seems impossible.
Also, do we know for sure if it is possible to put 8" and 9" on the back? Will these fit? Since they are re-sizable I imagine these would be able to fit if at all possible within the wheel space. I have had OZ wheels in the past and they are gorgeous, and having picked up my previous 3-piece wheels they were not as heavy as people claimed. I didn't have Superleggera but those are winning me over now. I guess maybe I'm partial.

Haha, I also see that this poll is very close. It seems I picked good rims to ask about.
