Nice.....

Just get used to either having to wash it or drive it dirty. I try to manage the former but more often that not it's dirty

Congratulations!

BSM with black interior is a great choice (but I'm bias )

If it's your sort of thing, the BMW Performance SSK and hand-brake lever look fantastic with that combination too.

Don't go with one of those spoilers - you'll only be taking off the OEM lip to put on a slightly larger one.

Try to hunt down a BMW Performance CF Spoiler. United BMW online do a lot of business from the forums here, and sell all-OEMs. You can find the page here: http://stores.channeladvisor.com/uni...eries/Exterior

Congrats on the purchase, too!

how much did you end up paying for the car if you don't mind me asking? Just want to know the market price.

You'll never guess what happened in the 11th hour. Got a text message last night saying sorry he had sold the car to another person, after i had book flights, organised finance, changed insurance and got a trade in on my car, very upset, hopefully karma comes around to bite him in the arse.
I had paid $67k, which i thought i had done well with, obviously too well

Disapointed!

What a pity I can't do something like that. You always have to honour a deal.

Thats a shame, i also agree you should honour a deal.

I do only want the manual, and unfortunately there are no others on Carsales that tick the boxes i am after.

Very disapointing, the guy is in business and i just think if a deal is done, it is done, not a very honourable person, didn't even have the courage to call me. a$$hole

Anyway, if anyway sees one, i am after a sunroof and the new idrive, and low k's!

OUCH, that bites big time.

335 is a nice looking car. Isn't as nimble as the 135 from most accounts but I know I would have bought one if I felt like splurging the extra cash flow on it.

I've driven the S5 and wasn't a fan. It felt too big and heavy for what I was after, and the steering feedback was too muted and vague.

Good hunting, Angus. Hope you find yourself a car soon.

That's crappy to hear, so sorry that some asshole decided to reneg on a deal.

When I was selling my Subaru earlier this year, i had 36 phone calls the night i put it up. It was very strategically priced, mind you. I had a solid deal going and the guy was working about 10 houses down from me at the time, so it was just too easy. I then had an offer from another person at 2k more, and while I did think about it, I decided not to sell it to him and sell to the original person for 2k less. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I was happy with the price, he was happy and I didn't want to be a prick out of greed.

He put a 10% deposit in my account that day, and drove it literally 200m down the road and cash-in-hand sale, signed over paperwork and walked home feeling like a drug dealer with cash in my back pockets.

Mind you, I had a terrible experience with a Sydney BMW dealer when going through the process. They had MY car ready on the showroom floor - everything i wanted and nothing i didn't want, for a great price. They stuffed me around and i thought all was lost.

2 weeks later the same car (just with different trim) was available in Newcastle for 1k less. The dealer was absolutely lovely and i took the car that weekend.

Keep sticking to your guns and you'll get something
