Car felt shaking at a stop light?

Well, today is the first day it got to 35 degrees(cold) in texas at night. When I was in a stop sign, i could feel vibrations from my seat. It somewhat scared me. Could it be due to the change in temperature? As soon as I hit the gas pedal, everything was fine. It was only when I was completely stopped.

edit: also, 2 days prior, I changed my wood interior to carbon fiber fabric, but the center console wasn't shanking at all, it was just the seats.

I have the same thing. It only happens at a low idle.

When i turn my car on I wait for it to go as low a rpm as it can before I start driving. If i do that it happens.

I also have an auto.

In cold conditions, i have found, and most others that the idle quality is as you described.. also on first start up and until its warm the air pump comes on and creates a "vibration"..

In the cold it is best to let the car warm up a moment before going out.

When i am late and start up and go, it takes about 2 or 3 lights down the road for the idle to settle etc etc..

I bet it doesnt happen once warm... i.e. go for a 10 minut drive then turn the car off... wait 5 minutes like going into dunkin donuts or something then restart and go... youll see a much better idle quality.
