Philips led angel eyes
So just to give you guy another option when wanting whitel light halos vs the stock amber color. I started my search for white h8 leds and first bought the lux angel eyes they are definitely bright but i kept getting the adaptive headlight warning no matter how i adjusted the ballast attached to the bulb. So i bought some halogens with blue film Sylvania zxe to be exact and those sucked they dont give out a white light. So i bought these Philips leds from pep boys they cost 150 but there is always coupons, the quality is really good they disperse light fairly well and they are brighter than stock the color also matches the eyebrow on the headlights. The great news is that the ballast on these bulbs is slim so it does not get in the way of the adaptive headlights. I installed them about 3 weeks ago and no errors at all.

I have seen these advertised in the UK and wondered how they performed in the rings.
I changed mine to the Phillips Diamond Vision H8's as I wasn't sure on the LED offerings to date. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=13 As above, pics would be great. |

Thanks for the pics so far guys.
Unfortunately the pics are either at might or under cover, so you can't really get a feeling for how effective they are. Any chance of pics in good daylight from the front and a little distance away, to try and get a feeling for what they look like in their true role as DRL's? |
