play randomly (shuffle songs)

ok, so I uploaded my music to the HD in the stereo/nav unit. I click on the box that will play the songs randomly...works fine...when I get back in the car at a later time, it wont play them randomly without having to redo the process again. Is there a way to have it save my "play random" setting?

Nope. It resets to non-random when you turn the car off. Annoying isn't it...

My problem - the songs I've loaded into the HDD play in alphabetical order for each CD rather than in the CD order.

Anyone know the fix for this?
