Naming files on ipod...

So, i name my files and give them tags using GENRE to find my artists, ie Genre A is for ACDC.

Anyway, for some stupid reason, not matter what software I used, some tracks just dont come up with the right genre, using Itunes , Foobar, Mp3tag etc

Anyone know why?

Do you have iTunes set to manage your library? If so, turn that off and try again.

I have no problems with song names/bands/genres when using MP3Tag and then importing it to iTunes. I just have it set so that I manage my library.
