larryn, can you confirm? You mentioned adjusting ride height and camber so I'm guessing this isn't the full extent of your setup.

Second container (wheels were split between two), is in port, just waiting for it to clear customs and then be delivered.
There is only 1 set of Anthracite left until May, and the other colors are extremely low as well. |

So, you have already pre-sold all of this second container?

Container with the remaining 1 series wheels came in from the first production run. All Colors are back in stock, but there is only 1 set of Anthracite and 2 sets of Hyper Black left for now.
A new batch is currently in production, and those will be here in a few months. But for now, this is all we have. |

Thanks Eddy. I guess I can now answer my own question of Bryan. Looks like the Berk car has 245/40/18F and 275/35/18R Toyo RA1's on it.
Got mail today. |

Thanks Eddy. The RA1s look just like that from the shoulder, but the tread is very different. Since I know you've seen the car, R1Rs it is.

I think someone in a different thread regarding these wheels asked for a shot from the back. Well, here is a partial rear shot. These are satin black with the oem center caps.
I have 235/40/18 Toyo t1r's on the front and 275/35/18 on the rears (leftovers from a previous car). My suspension is stock and the front fenders are rolled but the front still rubs over bumps. I'm waiting on my springs and camber plates. I wanted to go 255/35 or 245/35's but somebody kept telling me the difference in diameter - which I guess was more than just a few mm was too much and that it'd mess up the system. This is a 99% street car only though. |

Wow Grouch, I'm surprised you rub in the front with the stock suspension. I have basically the same fronts just in 19" (T1r 235/35) but I'm lowered around 20mm. I also occasionally rub in the front mainly if turning and going up a quick incline such as when entering a parking lot. It seems to me that the whole height of the tire is what's causing me to rub though, not the offset.
My rear rubbing was fixed by going down in profile so I tend to think like you that I could go 235/30 and then not rub. It would probably work but I agree with what others said, it would throw off the diameters too much (plus I doubt anyone makes a 235/30). So far I plan to stick with my current setup, maybe next time I'll try 225/35. Also I might try camber plates, depending on how these tires wear.

Your rubbing issues are probably caused by the height of the tire. It looks like you have enough room to clear cross section wise but the tire is much taller than stock and is "reaching" some of the fender parts and rubbing. Are you guys rubbing at the fender/bumper junction? Right in the corner where the two meet at the wheel well.
And a 255/35/18 or 245/35/18 is less of a deviation from the stock tire diameter than the 235/40/18 you have on there now. Car looks great, same color that we picked out! Now go wash that thing. |

I need to take a good look to see where it's rubbing. It shouldn't be hard with all that dirt on there. I just need to look under the fender for a clean spot!
Regarding the diameter difference, I was talking about the difference of the fronts compared with the rear. |
