Angel Eyes LED
Has anyone here tried these LED angel eye lights. They are 9W which means they would be fairly bright. They don't cost too much so it's probably worth trying.

Last week I bought a set of LED angel eye globes from ebay for a very reasonable price. So reasonable that I had nothing to lose. I'm very happy with the results. A lot whiter than the GP thunders. See comparison photo. GP Thunders on the left and ebay LED on the right.

Those look good. I've been considering on trying some LED's from Ebay but wanted to see some pics of them before purchasing.

I don't get why people that take pics of the led's always take them in the dark. We all know they will show in the dark. Obviously people are more interested in the daylight.

Yes, they are the ones in the first link. They appear to be just as bright as the GP Thunders during the day. I haven't had a chance to take any photos during the day yet. Will try to do this today and post.

P.S. Thanks for pics! much appreciated! What kit does your friend have? They all look the same but doesn't mean they are. Does he have the 9W ones like first link above? What ones does he have? Thx Last edited by aacabriolet; 09-21-2011 at 01:49 PM.. |

Thanks. Would love to try one of these VS the LUX. Got no mates with LUX you can compare with??
They do seem brighter from pics in the day :/ perhaps not the outer ring so much |

I would expect the LUX are better than these however, given they are almost 10 times the price I don't think the additional cost can be justified. |

I would probably go for HID if they would last in the long term. Heard too many stories of flickering kits, non igniting bulbs, etc. to put me off |

They look nice and for the price even better. Do the rings dim or turn yellowish when xenon lights are on?

They are LED therefore there is no dimming or turning yellow when the xenon lights are on.
