rear bumper got hit by a toyota last nite

updated status

rear bumper got hit by a toyota last nite!!! i went to a complete stop as the traffic ahead stopped and a toyota hit me from behind. I saw the whole thing coming from the mirror and i couldn't do anything coz i went to a complete stop. There was a car right after toyota and that guy told me that the toyota didn't hit the break at all. He almost crashed to the Toyota too. That was a 60km zone and my guess was he was driving over 60km. well due to the visibility only my rear bumper dropped to the ground and a few scraches besides the license plate but the toyota folded to the engine i think. And the worst thing was, he didn't have insurance on his car! what the hell!? I don't know if i needed to claim insurance through mine -_-. am gonna call my insurance on Monday and see what will happen. maybe some photo later on.
BTW in windsor, canada

Damn, so sorry to hear this. You are about the fifth rear-ended E90 that I know of - including me. I hope the repairs are perfect, and glad you're OK. Let me know if you want to vent... I know how you feel.

Oh man, this is an epidemic! I got hit as well, but truly...if everyone is OK that's what really matters. Very sorry to hear though.

That's just horrible. I got rear ended 6 days after i picked up my e90, and i know how pissed off i was. rest assured, it will all be fixed, i would definitely sue that fool who hit you.

people in toyotas don't care about driving, don't enjoy driving and don't pay attention while driving.

sorry about your wreck, but man, these toyota drivers are terrible.

Just watch the roads for Camry's doing stupid things, they're all terrible

watch it - some of us have driven Toyotas & we care about driving and LOVE to drive & yes...even pay attention while driving.
...and you wonder why BMW drivers get stereotyped...

Man, I guess those Adaptive Brake Lights aren't working as well as BMW thought they would...are these people blind or something! I always hit the brake as soon as the car in front of me does. Glad to know you were ok, but I know it still sucks.

I agree. I stayed away from those Corollas and Camry I see on the road. Only people who buy those cars are those who can not drive and have no idea what the word handling means.
