Removal of Mudflaps....

All... mudflaps came pre-installed on my CPO 135i. I successfully removed the rears, but don't know how to remove the fronts...

I've searched and only found 'install' threads. Uninstall should be the same, but backwards, but I still need some guidance. Any ideas?

You need to get a really "thin" allen key... then use it press out the center of the rivets that attach them to the wheel arches. I believe its (2) rivets per side. Once the center is pressed out you'll be able to pull the main part of the rivet out.

You'll then need to remove the lower (underside of the car) fastener. The installation says that it is supposed to be a "push in" fastener, but most people just reuse the torx bolt that was there from the factory. This will need to come out in whatever manner is deemed necessary by the fastener type.

You'll then need to remove the fasteners on the inside of the wheel well by pressing out the centers just like the other ones.

I believe the fronts are molded pretty tight to the fender, so just because all fasteners are out there will still be the tape + the tight fit keeping them in place, so it might take a bit of force to get them to come out.

NOTE: You will need to replace the clips you remove from the outer fender lip. If you don't then your wheel well liner will be loose. These parts can be picked up from BMW for ~$5 for a pack of 20. Don't have the part number handy, but the parts counter will know what you are talking about.

(Sorry to somewhat divert your question OP)

My 135 will arrive in a few weeks. I suppose I've never paid attention to there being mud flaps or not. Will my car have them (M-Sport)? If so, do most people take them off? I've not noticed any discussions about it before. Thanks.

No, I do not think they ever come from the factory with mud flaps. If you want them, you get to spend a few minutes installing them. I like mine.
