Squeaking When Letting go of the accelerator

Hey Guys,

There seems to be a slight squeak happening when I let go of the accelerator on my 2010 128i. Took it to the dealer and they said it was the noise reduction flap in the muffler. Just want to make sure that there is any merit to this claim. It gets kind of old after a while when I don't have my music on. Any suggestions?

Try the golf tee mod. If it goes away, then I suspect your dealership was correct.

Yes my car did a funny noise during startup. After golf tee mod squeak went away!
