My question Dan is that the back disks are a little smaller than the front disks now, but above you say they are the same. I take it you are talking the same look, but still a different size and therefor must be a different part number for fronts versue backs?

The front rotors are 13.3" the rear rotors are 12.8" on stock configuration.
So if BMW is saying this is a one size fits all rotor, can the rear accept a rotor that is .5" bigger and more than likely thicker as well?

The official BMW NA version of the performance catalog states the following: BMW Performance Rotors 135i: Part # For the 3 series, it says this: BMW Performance Rotor Left Front: Part # BMW Performance Rotor Right Front: Part # BMW Performance Rotor Rears: Part # Since the 135i didn't state this, I am under the impression they are all the same. I will call BMW NA tomorrow to confirm! I was supposed to be getting an e-mail back today from them but never got one. I'll keep you updated!

I hope they have them for both front and back. On the BMWUSA website they only state Front Brake Disk.

You mentioned these wont fit a 128i, which I am assuming is only because of the small stock calipers.
Will you be selling a big brake kit (calipers + rotors) for the 128i? Also, are you distinguishing between Left and Right rotors? I believe drilled and slotted rotors are directional, since the slot will be rotating in different directions on either side of the vehicle. |

Anyone know the maximum operating temperature for this rotor? I would like something that is 600 degrees for hard track use...
Also, what is the diff between this and the big brake kit? The 135i already comes with 6 piston/4 piston combo doesn't it? |

That is the BBK and you can select the option for 128i or 135i 135i comes with BBK, so IMO I don't think 135i users need it unless they are tracking the car. T

let us know the update on the rear rotors..IMO would look funny only having the front cross drilled. Although I'm will be doing it more for the weight savings, than looks

It's OE BMW Polypropolene material. We do not sell it with the sides, however you can order the sides as well. BMW hasn't offered the entire Kit all the way around yet. We can paint if for you by a BMW certified painter for $275 (bumper cover only). Let me know! Thanks!

** -- UPDATE -- ** BMW NA Confirm rotors are for the front only! BMW NA: "The rotors are front-only (order 2 pieces for a vehicle). There are no rear rotors yet, but look for additional products in this direction down the road."

Good info .... I want to get those side pieces .. how much are they and if you wanted them pre-painted .. how much for that?
Also .. do you have any close up pics of the side pieces? Is the "scoop" part at the rear functional or just for looks? thanks, Crowley

Dan, no info from BMW on operating temparature of these rotors? I like the fact that it saves weight, but my car is for track use and I am not going to buy a set of rotors that won't withstand high temperature as seen on track days. Thanks.
