How about I do something like this? ... kinda like the new BMW headlights coming out on the LCI E90s and the new 7 and 5 series.

this might get your headlights a bit more aggressive and it wont look like a cheesy vinyl from the outside it will feel part of the headlight as it will be encased within the clear lens.

The silver doesn't look that bad... Does it actually "do" anything or is it just for aesthetics?

Sorry I keep staring at the guy driving it's throwing me off- he looks angry.

depends on what color the car itself is, if its black then do a very dark tint maybe double limo or something, to really cover up the top part of the angel eyes, overall i don't think its a bad idea though.

not bad, but the line should not be as flat...I think a slightly more slant will give this car a better look. Here is a little aggressive example, but something along those lines would be perfect IMO:

Here's more options including the edited large LED ring, the corner grey out and diffrent options for the inner vinyl setups with a nd without a logo..

Not feeling it, to the point of numbness. But I've never like eyelids to begin with. They're glorified bumper stickers that SCREAM cheap aftermarket mod, IMO. The car is beautiful as it is... Please don't put mascara on your car...

I hate eyelids too...LOL

this is from the inside though, the Pshop cant represent that, it might be very nice when it's real... much like the new 7 or the 5s coming out which do exactly what this is trying to achieve... make the headlights a bit more agressive

I like the second iteration that you posted. The huge headlights are one of the things that really bugs me about the 1er.
