I was trying to see how the poll option works
(at the bottom of the screen)...

Anyway, Just wanted to know your toughts on the interiors.

My car goes into production on the 21st.

i'm personally goign with jet black exterior and taupe leatherette because I think the contrast opens up the car and makes it look much more luxurious.

yea the taupe interior would look much better

that was the color combo on my GTI and it was a great contrast

besides, your car is going to be hot enough (literally), you dont want the interior attracting heat too

I think the taupe would soften up the interior, perhaps make it look a bit more luxurious while the black would have a sportier, more aggressive look. Personally I like the black on black combo.

btw has anyone with a dark exterior / light interior combo gotten tints? i'm wondering how tints would look on a car with a light interior versus on a car with dark interior. im guessing that it would make it look like the tint is lighter than it is, but it wouldn't matter if its dark enough?

I like the two interiors for the exact same reasons.
My 3 series had the tan and looked fantasic.

My ’08 128 is scheduled for production on July 21st (although still waiting for confirmation from the 800 Number). Ordered on June 17th

The general manager said if the car does not come in by Aug 17 I can order a ’09 and he’d sell my ’08 when it arrives.

I’m tempted to go that route (because of the new Idrive).

I just put in an order for BSM as well with terra interior, hoping for the same effect.

I have the black and it is really hard to keep clean. Especially with a big white dog. Shows lots of dust.
