Didn't say it yet but thanks to Mike (MB135i) and Tom (tcd223) for taking the time to take/edit/post pics.

Thinking about planning the next GTG around or slightly after labor day before we lose the warm weather. I'm also considering taking the Mini next weekend back to that road Tom took us down along Bear Mountain, it was a blast to go uphill on the way out.

I was thinking a run to someplace scenic and very photogenic, although I have to say, i'm not too crazy about getting sand and sea water smell in my car....details and new thread to follow.

If anyone wants to offer suggestions, please feel free to PM me.

we dont have to have a picnic on the beach or anything... driving by a board walk or something as a large group, im sure we will draw a lot of attention as for photo's not really sure of a place for good photography but what i do know is that we can defff get some good cheese steaks somewhere down there!

Guys, I apologize for the wait, but I haven't had time to even upload the stuff from my camera to the computer. I'll do it as soon as I have enough free time to get a shot for everyone edited and ready for posting. Just a cursory glance at the stuff on my camera and I can already tell that Pete got good shots of everyone except for that 911 and the M3.

We all exchanged numbers at the pub. I know few of you had my cell number from previous GTGs, but the fact that we were all lost, coupled that we were lost in the middle of nowhere, few of us had service.

That road is a lot of fun going the other direction, just gotta time it right so you don't get stuck behind traffic. On google maps it's rt6/ rt202 or bear mtn bridge road. A run I used to do would start from the circle at the end of that road through to bear mtn and 7lakes drive to 17A and end at greenwood lake.

Let me know when you decide to do a run, I'd like to join in, maybe do something similar?

It took me half an hour to get onto the forum from the top of bear mountain and navigate my way to Frank's number which I luckily remembered was in another thread. It really didn't help that I'm pretty sure all of us had iphones and therefore AT&T.

I'd be in for a run like that. And yea, the goat path is a blast to drive, but you almost always end up behind grandma in her camry going 20mph for the length of it. Or you get guys on bikes who insist on clipping lanes.

Are you getting a loaner? That route looks great but I won't be able to get out of the city before 6:30pm at all for the rest of the week. by the time I got up there, it'd be too dark to drive with sort of gusto.

Random question, did any of you guys see that deer standing in the middle of the road right when leaving the top of Bear Mtn? I thought it was stuffed or something till I remembered it wasn't there half an hour earlier.
