E46 wheels on an E88?

Will these fit? They are both 16", and I am wondering about the offset and bolt pattern.

Does anyone have any insight into this? I have a chance for a set of winter wheels and tires at a reasonable price.

Thanks,

What's the style number?

EDIT: Just about all BMW wheels since around the E30 (I dunno, it's just old) are 5x120mm bolt pattern, and have the same center bore (except the E39). Offsets vary, but almost all are positive offsets (ETxx).

E30 is 4 lug, but chris_flies is correct about everything else. Searching for the style number on one of a few websites will give you the specs of the wheel which allow for an impression of whatever or not they will fit.

I can say that E46 330i sport package wheels, Style 68M or M68s as they're known will fit a 135i and can clear the big Brembo brakes. My track wheels are also 17" in diameter and clear my Brembo brakes by a hair. There are plenty of options for the 128i.

I know loads of people hate them, but the Style 19's are my favorite (2-piece OE BBS wheels). My dad's old E39 540i had them, and the looked the business on that car! They make them in E82-compatible offsets and sizes, but I don't think they suit the car too well. I'll have to do some wizardry and see how they'll look...they're pretty lightweight.

I always liked style 269. Thought of getting a set for my 1er.

They do look really nice! I'd hate to clean them, though they aren't as bad as the basket-weave ones on the M4 GTS and on some of the regular M3/4s.

I think they are aftermarket:

Set of E46 BMW winter wheels and tires for sale. Wheels are ASA 16x7, tires are Dunlop 205/55-16. Tires are dated 2005 but have a winter or two left in them, they worked great last year.

My OE Style 256's fit perfectly on E46's, so I imagine a wheel for the E46 will fit perfectly on our cars.

I am going to say yes, they will fit. Your E88 should say IS47 on the inside of the wheels and check the new/aftermarket wheels-I bet they say the same.

I’ve got E46 Style 119s on my 128i. They are 17X8 and though they sit close to the front struts they clear everything.
