Poll: Which Front Lip do you want Scopione to Make?

Hi Everyone,

I have been speaking with Mike at Scopione and they want to come out with a front lip. Unfortunately the research and development department at Scopione is at full capacity currently due to them working on many different BMW parts right now so they cannot put the resources to create their own front lip. But he said that if I can make a thread with a poll seeing which front lip everyone wants, they can produce that front lip which is already on the market in carbon fiber for a better price as they have done with the diffuser.

1. iCarbon Front Lip

2. 3D Front Lip

3. Vorsteiner Front Lip

4. Kerscher Front Lip

5. Forgot to include Hamann and I can't edit the poll to add it as an option but here is a picture. If you want Hamann then make a reply.

Can I add one? Hamann.

I would love to see a Hamann front lip in CF, being that they only exist in FRP.

I can't seem to edit the poll to add another option. Is that under advanced? I don't see it there lol. I can add a picture of Hamann and just ask people to post if they want that one. I think the Hamann looks pretty close to Kerscher though so I would still prefer the iCarbon one. Only 1 lip will be made right now so they can't make multiples.

I'm not sure, maybe PM a mod for info?

I sent that company an email asking if they were making a lip, and recommended the Hamann one. I would be one of the first in line if they made a Hamann CF replica!

Sent a PM to Mark. I think iCarbon will win out over all the other lips so they will end up making an iCarbon since they would rather sell 20+ copies of one lip than a lesser amount of a different one.

iCarbon / 3D look the best out of all of them. Then Vorsteiner for third.

I prefer 3D or Vorsteiner as the icarbon is not aggressive enough in my opinion and I already own the Kerscher lip lol..

Yeah Vorsteiner is pretty aggressive looking. I know there is a mold out there for the Vorsteiner lip because an ebay chinese CF manufacturer which I got my carbon grills from offered me the vorsteiner lip but he quoted me 600$ I think. And it seemed a little shady since he didn't have an ebay listing for it so I didn't go with it.

I voted Kerscher, but I'm also fond of the 3D/Hamman look.... not really feeling the Vorsteiner or iCarbon designs as they've always appeared to be too 'tacked on' IMO.

We also need to get them to make a trunk spoiler similar to the BMW Performance one... but with quality fitment and not the lifting at the edges that the cheap CF's seem to do.

I think I would rather have them do a full Carbon Trunk with the built in duck tail that iCarbon has since there are already a ton of BMW Performance spoilers on ebay you can buy for cheap. But it's hard to find a good fitting hood / trunk.

Ya no more rear spoilers.. there are sooooo many of those out there.. if so maybe a different type of rear spoiler like the E90 Vorsteiner ones. We need more options and variety so we can make our cars unique to our liking. Everyone 1er is looking pretty similar these days lol.. jk

Yea I can understand that, but the only cheap spoilers you refer to are low-quality knock offs that don't ever seem to fit right on the edges...

In the first post I said that they do not have the resources to manufacture a lip from scratch right now due to them working on multiple other projects. It has to be a lip already on the market for the E82 that they can make a mold from easily and then sell it to us at a better price than the original and in CF.

Well that would make the Vorsteiner lip a little difficult considering it was never released on the market. It was modelled on a car, but actually never released. Or at least I've never seen it being sold.

Yes but I think it may still be possible since there are pictures of it on the actual car. So they can try to copy the dimensions and etc without much trouble.

The previous poster asked for a lip that has never been made for the E82. Which would require alot more research and development.

Also I talked to alot of Chinese Ebay CF sellers and one had quoted me saying he had access to the Vorsteiner mold and said it would be about 600$+shipping. I didn't take him up on it. So it may be out there.

3D gets my vote but kerscher would be nice too

I would also like a high quality spoiler, yes there are tons out there but other than BMWP (way too expensive) and iCarbon (they dont make anymore), all other ones fit like crap and the edges lift

Icarbon lip and icarbon m3 hood gets my vote. Hopefully it's competitively priced. I'm not keen for another 1 year+ group buy either.
