the White Knight gets black Vinyl on the roof!

I picked up a sheet of gloss black vinyl from bmwshadowline.com and have been watching/helping a friend who knows vinyl with the install. I removed the shark fin first, got the roof good and clean, and then he wrapped the roof all at once using the wet application method and didn't pull the rails out. Oh yeah, as a bonus he custom cut me some amber covers

to take the fin off.. did ya do the floss method? and as far as sticking it back in place what did you use?

The shark fin is painted not vinyl for the person who asked above.

first we used a scrub pad to take the clear off and give it some slight texture and then sprayed it with a gloss black krylon.

we used one of those plastic edging tools but I prefer using fishing line and goo-gone. Sticking it back on is fool proof because there is one screw hole for the inner part of the shark fin and 2 holes to the left and right of for the outside piece. I just used 3M automotive double stick tape.

not yet, the car is dirty and I still need to put some sealant on the roof and shark fin. I'll get some soon though since the weather is getting nicer.

Thanks, corey got some vid today showing the car cleaned up out in the light. We went to Cars & Coffee Austin today. It was a good turn out and great weather!
