Heavy Front Tire Wear
I am only at 12,000 on my car and noticed the other day while doing a full wash/wax that my front driver side tire appears heavily warn in comparison to the passenger side and even the rears. Does this make sense? I don't believe I drive more spirited than the next guy and I check my tire pressure regularly. Is this just the combination of my 240lb frame and run-flat tires or should I be concerned about an alignment issue?

I'd go get your alignment checked by a reputable shop. That looks like the outside of the tire, so I would say your camber might be off (not enough negative or possibly has positive camber if it's really out of wack).
I had the same problem on my Subaru, come to find out my passenger side front wheel only had -.3 degrees of camber... and I drive it pretty aggressive in the canyons. |

My front winter tires looked like that when I took them off. Turns out that my dealer botched my alignment and my car actually had positive camber on the fronts.

Remember... Negative Camber = inner tire wear. Positive Camber = outter tire wear.
ALL it takes is one good hit/contact with a pothole. Then your alignment will be shot. This is why its a good idea to have your alignment checked every year. By the time you notice the worn tires... its too late. $$$ |

It could be to much toe in on the left front tire. It's hard to tell from the picture though. Yeah go get the alignment checked. Good luck.
