FAQUE! Cracked wind screen...

Any one have this issue?
it's my very first ever in over 15 years of driving!
how much of a pain is it...and insurance? will they cover it?

Usually your deductible will be included in the total job so no money out of pocket. If your insured with full coverage. Plus you get a new clean speck free windshield to look out of.

Had mine replaced by Safelite and I just had to pay my deductible...

Yeah friday...morning same thing here...
I feel so silly! I've been driving since I was 18 and now i'm 36 and well it's the first time I have had to call in a claim and feel so "duuuhhhhh"

I had mine replaced...no problems. My insurance covered it for the price of my deductible. The local BMW dealer had a window guy come in to the dealer and do the repair there. He used a factory BMW replacement part. The repair was perfect...you could not tell any difference from a brand new stock 135. The repair was done in the morning before lunch and I picked the car up in the late afternoon and it was good to go.
