Leather interior Pictures please.

Question on the leather. Looks like the reason for the 'seams' in both the seat and seatback bolsters is to separate leather from vinyl. You can immediately see 2 different tones.

Is the outside portion vinyl or a cheaper grade of leather? Since it looks identical to the sides of the seat, I'm 99.9% sure it's vinyl, but want to hear from you. For what BMW charges, the entire seating surface should have been leather IMO. Not a deal breaker, but a bit of a disappointment. Take care gang.

Just found this thread. It's great. I'm pretty sure on getting AW. Just trying to figure if I want to go with coral or get the white on white (Gray Boston Leather + AW). Can you post comparo pics of these 2 combos Jeff? Thanks.

Hey Upgrade+,
Since you might want a light interior, before you put that Gray in your beautiful AW car, I strongly urge you to consider the Lemon interior, or even the Taupe or Savanna. I'll bet you'll like one of them better than the Gray inside that AW. Otherwise, I'd go for the Coral with AW.

I hope you can see what it is I'm trying to explain to you. The Gray interior does not blend as well with the White as does the Taupe. Certainly, if your eye sees the Gray as being nicer than go with it, but I am pretty darn sure this isn't just my own eye here. I strongly suspect most others would definately encourage you to go with Taupe over Gray, if those were in fact the ONLY two colors for you two choose from.

Problem is that Taupe and Gray look very similar in photos. This pic is AW with Taupe, but it is hard to see the difference. You MUST go see them in person, and I have very little doubt that you will choose the Taupe.

You are welcome. Go to the online configurator and play with the interior colors for a few minutes. Then let me know what you think!! I have little doubt you'll like the Taupe better than the Gray. But remember, if you have any doubts, you must see them in person, if you can!

Yeah. Conf sucks. Doesn't show real look of how car will look. Unfortunately, dealer I went to only had a convertible for me to test (think it had lemon interior). I will be going to another dealer this weekend when I'm off from work. Is their an option to only get the sport seats alone? Not interested in the whole sport package.

No, but if on a 135i, the package is primarily the seats, anyway. Also includes the M steering wheel and shift knob, and a higher top-end speed limiter. The Sports package price is a steal anyway.

If a 128i, then it is an important suspension upgrade, which is already included on the 135i.

The 135i does not get a bump in the top-end speed limiter with the Sport Package, only the 128i does. (from 130 to 150) The 135i is limited to 150 no matter what unless you get the Dinan flash, in which case the limiter is removed completely.
