Sure I read German. I've read it. Or is it a translation you are looking for?
The thing that is most talked about in the German forums, that the tuned cars are relatively close to the stock 1M (if you look at the laptime list at the bottom). Imho that is due to the track (the Sachsenring is a track with good grip that has a very even surface - even the 1Ms stock suspension setup works there). The test result is really nothing spectacular. Just another proof, that it takes a lot of effort to make a very, very good stock car better (and faster). However, I would assume, that the difference to the stock car would be larger, if the comparison had been run on i.e. the Nordschleife.

Thanks to all of you for doing this shoot and comparison.
I also wish this was in English as my kinder Deustch isn't up to the task of translating this article. But bottom line, nice to see the effort in the community for tuning this sweet car. If any of you are looking for a U.S. specification VO 1M to do some tuning work with and a car that is sitting here in Germany, let me know

I just noticed that the "Lightweight Titanauspuffanlagen" 1M has the side grille stickered so it looks like it's an open grille. Looks pretty good after looking here http://www.mycarportal.net/wp-conten...toshoot-09.jpg

We build the brake caliper by himself. You can put it in a 1M and M3 |
