Sub ET45 9.5 rear wheels?

I just fitted some 275 wide tires on 18x9.5 et43 rears and they seem to fit decently with only -2* camber.

Not sure how they'll do under compression

Anyone else as dumb as me?

I had to go to 3deg camber to get 255 PSSs to somewhat fit on my 19x9.5 et45s. No way I'd think you would be able to get that to fit. Just don't hit bumps or get a heavy girlfriend.

I even took my rear seat out, went to a lightweight battery, and finally did the rear hub mod to get my tires to fit.

Weird I'm running 18x9.5 et43 with 275/35 & 2* camber right now without rubbing on the street.

I'm getting the fenders rolled and pulled this week but also installing et58 wheels to be safe

Running 18x9.5 +50 with a 265 Nexen, alignment at -2.3* and I clear by a country mile. Just ground down the insides of the quarter panel lips to flush in preparation for my next fitment challenge. Should be fun times ahead.

Any chance you're heading to Buttonwillow this weekend? I know Alex will be up there, it'd be cool to get the E82 track rats all together.

What's your suspension setup these days?

Nope. Actually headed to Big Willow on Saturday with Speed Ventures and Bimmer Challenge.

Just installed the UUC adjustable rear bar this past weekend, so Willow Springs will be a big test and tune event to see what other changes the car needs.

Moving to new wheel setup once I get the cash to do so. It's a fitment I don't think I've ever seen before on a 135i, should be interesting.

I would love adjustable sway bars front & rear. Suspension tuning this car is a bear, wish the wheel base was just a few inches longer so it wasn't so damn twitchy

I love the SpeedVentures / Bimmer Challenge guys.... Just need more events north of LA. I'm working with a local shop that's willing to transport my car to SoCal - how's Willow? Never driven it.

Did you tack weld the two layers together? The double sheet fender will separate on you and shred your tires.

Taking care of that shortly.

Big Willow is a scary track. Only one that's ever scared me. I also suck at going fast there, haven't actually taken the 1'er to Big Willow since June, 2016, but I've driven a handful of press cars there since. Hoping to make big strides in lap time reduction.

Spxx. You must be using Falken or Toyo tires? Nitto and Nexxen also run fairly small/tucked in shoulders. My car is lowered around an inch also. I'm sure I could run 265 in the Toyo or Nitto models I had before, maybe even 275 easier than running Michelin PSSs.

Hmm, prior Bridgestone's i've used did not run small. That's good to know that they sound like they fit better than PSSs.

NVM, they don't come in 255 or 265 x30/19, they don't come in anything with a 30 profile, not that many tires do.
