bought my 7 qts of oil today at the dealership. $6 per quart. and bought an oil filter also for $14.
i'll probably get the oil change end of this week |

Remember what your manual says about break-in....
"After driving 1,200 miles/2,000km: Engine and vehicle speeds can be gradually increased" (P. 98) Always better not to just mash the throttle down, but start abusing it in measured stages :wink: |

oil change, differential oil change, and if you have a manual, transmission fluid change. of course, if you plan to own the car more than 5 years or 60k miles.

the 1200 miles oil change is not covered by BMW since it's not mandatory. the 1200 miles oil change is up to you. you don't have to do an oil change if you don't want to.
