Since it doesn't say I guess we can assume it was their True Match suspension that was installed - being the only one that comes with the camber plates?

Both the true match and smart design can run camber plates. The only difference being the smart design adds compression adjustments and rear dampers are external adjustable.

An Issue with the quote in the article

I called TC Kline and the rear srings they offer are either 600# or 700#. the article , however indicates very differently. The person i spoke to could not provide more details and I don think was that familiar with the artcile. I am looking for a street set-up so this is a concern.

Where the stock 128i rides on springs that measure in the neighborhood of 125 lbs. up front and 350 lbs. at the rear, Kline installed 350-lb. springs up front and 500-lb. springs at the rear. (Kline says he tried 600-lb. springs that were a little stiffer than the M3 springs, but they proved too stiff on the lighter 128i.) The rates he chose are much stiffer than stock, but they suit the car’s intended purpose as a combination track tool/daily driver.

UPDATED: Discussion with Eric at TC Kline

Eric said the article is incorrect. It should read that the 700#springs were too much for the stock rear sub frame bushings and that the 600# springs would be used if the bushings are to be kept stock

In the article it states the car is on four 8x19 M3 competition wheels, but the close up pics sure look like 18" wheels to me.

you can read the tire size on the sidewall in the close-up picture. 19. the problem with those wheels is that they're only 8" wide!

They are 19's. I have seen and drove the car about 8-10 months ago.

the DA s are actually cheaper now than in the past.(1695) apparently the damper tck gets from koni is now designed for the 128 so they have less modifications to make ??

Ok thanks. They just didn't look like 19s based on the sidewall height to me.

TC Kline initial thoughts

I've just had the TCK suspenion + Vorschlags in since saturday, and the transformation is substantial. I had Rogue set the car up with almost the softest settings. I can barely percieve a drop from the stock sport suspension. The car now rides much more like the few e46 M3s I have driven. I love the change, but I will say it is not for everyone. Driving around town in the sub 40 mph range is a bit "bumpy", and the camber plates do transmit a click/pop noise into the car (easily solved by turning up the stereo volume). But the highway/lane change/offramp control is astounding. I now have too much car for local roads. The car seems to say "is that all you've got?" on my most aggressive turns.

More comments to come as I get more seat time. Also, I need to do more research on the camber settings for street vs track. Will be discussing with Rogue and post any findings here.
