Mmm. Awesome car.
You may know that the RS4 and the Audi R8 share the same motor, 4.2L V8. You may also know that the V10 version of the R8 shares the same motor as the Gallardo... Due to all this sharing, the V10 and V8 were designed to be fairly interchangeable within the chassis, and this means the humble A4 (or S4 in his case, not an avant) will accept the motor from a Gallardo as if the factory designed it that way. You still need an all new exhaust and getting the electronics to play nice is a trick, but for shocking the Ferrari in the next lane it's pretty hard to beat one of those dropped into a 4wd avant. One or two. Sorry for the thread jack, but... video You can find more here, or google for "Porsche PVX" http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...9-gt3-cup.html

However, the rs4 v8 is absolutely crammed in the engine bay with most of the motor hanging in front of the front axle (which is also the biggest knock on an otherwise perfect car). This is where the M cars get it right. Trust me when I tell you there is no room for anything, not a turbo or any size able S/C. I would love to see how they fit the extra two cylinders etc in there. Drop me a pm with info/photos when you get a chance.. Sorry OP... Here is my contribution... 1M B7 RS4 Bugatti Veyron Audi R8gt Lamborghini Aventador. R8 is next.. |

Pete, was your car ever featured in European Car at any point? I feel like I have seen these pictures of your car elsewhere before.

In no particular order:
1. 1M 2. 1963 TVR Griffith 3. Wiesmann GT MF4 4. 1973 E9 3.0 CSL 5. Bugatti Type 35C And (I'm gonna cheat and no one's gonna stop me!) there will most certainly be room to fit an E30 M3 in there. If I get stackers, we can make this "Top 10" instead of "Top 5"!

Wow, that guy must have been having a terrible day to be that angry. I agree some things on the car could use work, like the automated gearbox, but I'd have the manual anyway. I wonder if he is that critical of every car he tests.

Lucky to have 2 of my top 5 in the stable, so list narrows down to 3:
1. Porsche GT3 RS 4.0 2. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse 3. MB 300 SL Gull Wing Coupe (though I would settle for an SLR Sterling Moss Edition)

It was a toss up between that and the Ferrari 250 on my list. The 300 SL and SLR are timeless classics.
