Interestingly, someone else on Pistonheads was quoted £400, unless this is one of you guys on here (goes by the nick Mike!).

Have requested where he has his order.

Yes - it was £2700 so not much of a reduction compared to the original £3400 so I have decide to go for just the base package.

I guess a warranty on disc's, pad's & clutch for a 1M was never going to be cheap!

Don't pay it, you're being screwed! Tell your SA to call one of the other dealers where the £400 has been confirmed

My dealer said exactly the same ,wouldn't budge, so didn't go for it.

(I did get a great deal on the car, so overall it evens out I guess).

I paid the £1000 and mentioned this thread to my dealer. They checked it with BMW and refunded me £600. Thanks Guys.

I called BMW UK, Customers services number yesterday, the 1st guy said it was £1000.00 but I said I had heard there was a special price for the 1M coupe. He then spoke to the service inclusive specialist and he confirmed it was £400.00.

He also said that it must be taken with 60 days of buying the car or it goes up to £1000.00

My dealer has now confirmed it should be £400.

My dealer thought it would be £1000 but sent an e-mail to check whilst we were ordering the car, he rang me later in the day to confirm it would only be £400. That £600 is now burning a hole in my pocket though and I'm considering the carbon spoiler
