I'm very interested in alcantara to match existing BMW performance gear, plus my electronic steering wheel (v1), which has the alcantara grips. Do you have a rough price guide? Are you expecting to send out the cover for us to fit ourselves?
1. KD135 - Alcantara ( Silver/Grey stitch ) 2. PeteA - Alcantara ( Silver/Grey stitch ) 3. Harlequin - Black Leather ( Black stitch ) 4. Eddie135 - Black Leather ( Red stitch ) 5. jorge135 - Alcantara (Red stitch) 6. Walnut - Alcantara (Silver/Grey stitch) |

Depending on how many get on boar initially will obviously play a big factor as the labour will just be divided up, plus material or what not, im aiming for a figure of $300/$350 it may be expensive but its a much cheap option for us than the 1m gauge cover at $700 from a BMW stealership EX-Germany.
And with these you can almost have whatever you want which is awesome. |

As per the first page:
Update: 07/06/13 Morning all, Enough interest has been shown towards these so these will now become full steam ahead, the Black Alcantara material is still another week away so i am told so those that wont the Alcantara will have to wait a little longer. After speaking with James the Trimmer last night he seems to think he can turn these around in a day which is great. Which means it should be a one week turn around time if your not located in Perth. For those that wanted the Leather dash they will be getting started as soon as i have received payment. Payment will be $350 to the following: Paypal: kdd1919@hotmail.com Bank Deposit: Name: Kristian D Bank: National Australia Bank BSB: 086334 ACC: 823380585 The list we have so far is as follows, i will update this for those that want to come on board and for those that have paid. 1. KD135 - Alcantara ( Silver/Grey stitch ) PAID 2. PeteA - Alcantara ( Silver/Grey stitch ) PAID 3. Harlequin - Black Leather ( Black stitch ) 4. jorge135 - Alcantara (Red stitch) 5. Walnut - Alcantara (Silver/Grey stitch) Last edited by Tab135; 06-06-2013 at 08:01 PM.. |

I said I was interested when it was an EOI... Still interested but would like to see something in the way of pics... Not a fan of buying "sight unseen".
Even if it's just pics of previous, similar work that this guy has done. Also, $350 seems high for what is effectively 1/2sqm of leather/alcantara and labour... |

Hey KD, I'm in Perth.
I'm not interested in the alcantara but this has got me thinking about perhaps doing something with the trim to add a touch of individuality in my coral red interior, but I'm not sure what yet...... Any chance I can see this guy and talk about some ideas? I'm always happy with a referral |

Looks like he does nice work for a good price, I don't see what the fuss is about. Very tempted by the cluster cover. Would he have any interest in redoing V1 electronic BMW performance steering wheel alcantara?
