Super-impressed by the level of detail the inspector provided. Also very sobering that a car with that level of work done to it would be offered as such. Goes to show that due diligence is paramount...

Shroom: do you go to that level of scrutiny when buying any used vehicle or just because it's a 1M?

be careful with these Perillo 1Ms. Most of them have a history of being BMW performance center track cars. I had investigated them in 2013. Search this forum for Perillo

Yes they did an excellent job looking over the car and so did Thailynal!

This is my first time buying used, since it was across the country I wanted to "trust but verify". With the 1M, it's really collectors car and I missed the boat getting it new. I want to be sure I'm getting an excellent example for the premium I'm going to pay. In the end it's a very small price for discovery. Having one of these companies look for you really is just just a smaller version of a normal PPI if you can't be there, which should always be done so they say. It's not about nit picking, it's to catch the big stuff.
