What did you do to/for your 1er today?

I'm on my last step in a custom made iphone docking station to get installed into the ashtray location. It will interface directly with my Pioneer HU and I'll be able to run apps right from my Pioneer touch screen. I have everything working on the seat, I just need to finish up the install.

Cool thanks for the heads up, I actually had googled '1 series sunglasses holder' right after I saw your post and found the same thing but for $50+. Problem is my car has the Anthracite headliner so I would need to find a black one to match :/

You may be SOL regarding black. I've seen grey and tan, but don't remember seeing black. You might check eBay.

Took the little fatty in for VANOS recall, SIB 12 15 14 update to address throttle surge when coasting into a slow corner, and to get an exhaust rattle looked at.

I installed a Pioneer AVH-X7500BT with all the interface cables needed to plug in my iphone. I made a custom docking station to take the place of the ashtray which will accept the IPhone 5 or 6. The video is not great it was a night time shot and I did not have very good lighting anyplace. I also took a picture with the flash to show you the ashtray mod.

Nice job, 135droptop! It all looks factory. I prefer your solution over the factory "pod" sticking out of the dash (which I thankfully don't have).

Finally got my square setup taken care of. 245/35-18 MPSS all around. Was running 235/40 + 245/35.

Running 18*8.5 et 45 all around. I have a 5mm spacer up front to prevent rubbing on the strut. I think I could get away with a 3mm spacer though.

In total it took me 8 hours on jack stands to do the struts, brakes and rotors front and rear.

I got my axle seals today over at the stealers (not bad, $24). My baby goes in on Monday for the MFactory LSD install. I was going to do it myself but, I don't feel like crawling under the car. Getting to old for that crap. $600 to do the swap out the door.

Washed the car, applied Iron-X, rinsed, then used my nanoskin sponge on the car... Twice.

Two coats of Powerlock tomorrow.
