Wheel Question
Hey Guys, I am looking at getting some new wheels for my car. What do you think of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-St...mZ350144529371
They are the 18" replicas of what comes on the e92 m3 I'm not to sure about wheel setup, so can someone tell me if this will work on the 1 series? Thanks |

I have 9" wide wheels with a 43 offset, and my 245's just clear. You would be using both a wider wheel, and a smaller offset. Both would move the tire out almost an inch more than what I currently just squeeze in there now. Add to that a 245 would be too narrow a tire for that wide of a wheel, so if you put a wider tire on there, you'll be sticking out ever further. |

Guys I have contacted the seller of those wheels and he said if there was enough interest he would custom make them for us. He is a vendor on e46fanatics and e90board. He requested the link to our website so I gave him it and also asked what would the requirements be for the wheel to work on our car. Can you provide some figures please as I would have no clue. I did let him know about "larryn's" setup and mentioned that was the limit.

He hasn't replied to my previous email as yet, probably due to time difference but I shall email him with the specs and see what he will be able to do for us. Thanks kris for the info.

offset and width of the wheel is everything to do with the location of the inner and outer lip of the wheel.
aus135i if you put 275 on stock rim, it will not give much larger patch of tyre to bitumen as a 255 on a wider rim. I will personally always go for the latter.
