How did you get to order without the sunroof? I'm looking at buying one of these but at 6'8" my only option right now is the convertible. My local dealer has told me the 1 series is only available with a sunroof. Also can you post some pics showing off the headliner?

WHY on Earth are you not supposed to use them in the winter (the 261s, as the picture says)??? could somebody explain? I was all excited because I had found winter tyres that would fit... RFTs too, I think

P.S. There is no way I am spending money on another set of wheels and keeping the stock ones for 4 months a year. And steelies,

Not too exciting, it is pretty much the same color as the rest of the interior.

Yeah...I think it involves spending more money and having to go thru a pain in the ass procedure to get it out of Canada and into the US! Actually I don't know if it is a pain in the ass but the US prices are better. Can you not do a special order thru BMW? I'm sure it will cost you some money but it will still be cheaper. Also...the Canadian speedo is in Kilometers/hour only.

Not really. But the first step will be to pick the US Customs officer up off the floor and convince him that he's not in some bizarro parallel universe...
