It's a bodykit for non 1M 1ers (1M look).

On a side note: foggy/humid headlight clusters at the time the promo pictures were shot. Condensation, moisture or water entrapment: well-known issue once headlight covers were opened, for example for installation of alternative headlight devices (such as LUX Angel Eyes). Must be air tight fit: any tiny opening whatsoever is sufficient for generating condensation creating the risk of a 'dipped beam failure'.

Apparently they abandoned their initial plan to add an extra set of daylights (it already did not feature the ActiveE or 1M headlight LED eyebrow [stripe]):

Compare with the Hamann 1M tuning: extra set of daylights:

Artemis,

Any idea why they did not mention the hood on their web site? I wonder how much it costs?

No. Neither the wheels are mentioned in the list of the package contents (English and German version) (http://www.prior-design.de/bmw_1series_pdm1-wb/)

Thanks. My only complain on the 1M is the hood, BMW should have made it a bit more interesting.

Exactly my idea, but since this is not OEM I don't care actually.

The leds in the intakes are hideous imo.(The Hamann as well)

Cheers

has anyone else tried ringing bmw for a parts price list?
the oem 1M parts are pretty cheap in my opinion,
ebay has alot of lightly damaged parts for the 1m that can easily be repaired,
if i had a 135i id buy oem wings and front bumper then hunt down the rest on ebay,
you could get all the panels and face lift 1 series headlights for under £3k.

Site says 3k euro +300 euro for the wing.

Really really nice looking kit IMO. If i had the expendable funds, this would be up there.

Thanks for the info. I wish BMW would do a "performance" hood on 1M and I would buy it. With the limited number of 1M , the chances of BMW spend money doing it is quite slim.

Example of aftermarket carbon fiber hood with bulge (with or without vents):
http://www.bimmian.com/Carbon-Fiber-...r-E88-1-Series
"For BMW 1 Series Coupe & 1M - 2007-2011 - E82/E88
- Black Carbon Fiber Louvered GTS Vent Style (part# CHD828BGY): €878
- Black Carbon Fiber OEM Ventless Style (part# CHD828BOY): €613"

Thanks for the link. I have not checked this web site for a while, interesting and the price is quite reasonable. Do you know the product quality from that German company?

I wish the bulge hood does not come with the vents, it's too much. It looks like Slek is the only choice.

If there was a wide body available for the 8E7 (hatchback) I will actually get a used one, just to have this.
