JB+ Extension Cord

A few months ago when I did some research into JB+ I remember they sold an extension cord so that you could attach the JB+ somewhere in closer reach so you didn't have to take out the intake/air filter just to change settings. I can't seem to find it on their website anymore. Was this my imagination or are there really extension cords for the JB+? If yes, where can I find one?

You really set it and forget it but one could easily build extensions by buying two sets of the clips and some wire.

True. I was hoping there's an extension cord for easier access to the dial and to be able to remove the JB+ easily when bringing the car in for work. I don't yet know where the TMAP sensor is located (I've read it's under the filter), but I'm hoping that once I install the dual cone intakes, it'll be right in reach.

Does anyone who has a dual cone intake and JB+ know if the TMAP sensor is easily accessible because of the dual cone intakes?

the jb+ is one of the easiest things to install, especially if you already have dci's. there really is no need to install an "extension cord"

With stock box it takes me 10 minutes. Dual cone 3minutes ? You will not be fiddling with it much, there is no reason too but to each his own.

I guess I'm over analyzing it too much then. I looked at the instructions and they say you have to take off the air filter and to check the instructions for that to see how it's done. When I looked at the air filter box removal instructions, they seem long because you have to take out a bunch of screws. Are the instructions simpler than that? I wish there was a DIY with pics in this forum for JB+. I couldn't find one.

In theory you could extend the wires or DIY a new adjustment POT on the board but upgrading to the JB3 would be more productive from a performance perspective.

Thanks. I don't think I'm technical enough to build such an extension cord.

Could anyone with a JB+ tell me what the default setting for the dial is? I got my JB+ used, and it's currently set to 3/4 the way between Min and Max. That doesn't seem like it's the default to me, rigth?
